The EHPA Public Health and Wellbeing Special Interest Group is committed to improving knowledge and understanding of Public Health and Wellbeing regulation in Victoria through:

  • The development of  professional practice tools and guidance notes on various aspects of Public Health and Wellbeing for public health practitioners
  • Providing an active and influential role by liaising with and engaging relevant government agencies on Public Health and Wellbeing policy
  • Providing opportunities for public health professionals to network and converse on areas of interest relating to Public Health and Wellbeing

The Public Health and Wellbeing SIG addresses issues such as rooming houses, assessment and determination of nuisances and registration of prescribed businesses.  Members of the Public Health and Wellbeing SIG represent a cross section of municipalities across Victoria.

The Public Health and Wellbeing Special Interest Group meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Nillumbik Shire Council Offices, 14 – 32 Civic Drive, Greensborough, 3088.

Meeting start at 9.30am and run to 11.00am.   New members are always welcome, come along and see what we are doing and how you can make a difference!
